September Update

2020 will certainly go down in the history books as a year that many of us would like to forget!  Here at Meeson Hall we are trying to remain positive and have enjoyed the chance to re-open our doors to guests again, not only in our holiday cottages but in the hotel as well.  We have made plenty of changes to keep us, our staff and our guests safe, while ensuring everyone can still enjoy the Meeson Hall experience and welcome that we have always loved to provide.  Along with following the government guidelines regarding sanitising and staff PPE we have also taken further action by limiting the number of guests staying in the hotel at any one time.  This means that guests can be assured of social distancing and their utmost safety whilst visiting us.  We are always happy to answer any queries or questions you may have, so if you need to, just call or email us and we will do our best to help.

Although the past few months have been difficult in many ways, we have made the most of our time by making a few changes here and there.  The biggest task was to convert a once unused room within Courtyard Cottage into a stunning third bedroom!  Meaning our beautiful and very popular holiday cottage can now accommodate up to five people.  The transformation has been a huge success and we have been delighted with the reaction so far from the guests that have visited, especially those returning to us who know the so cottage well.

Set in our glorious courtyard to the rear of the main house, Courtyard Cottage is now a three-bedroom holiday let, comprising of one double room with en-suite shower, one twin bedded room and one single room both sharing a bathroom.  A refitted breakfast kitchen with granite surfaces is well equipped with everything you should need to make your stay a home from home experience.  The cottage offers a wealth of character including stunning vaulted ceilings and minstrel gallery along with an inglenook fireplace housing a cosy log burner.

We are delighted that we can now offer those wanting to enjoy the great British Staycation and all Shropshire has to offer a number of options, from luxury hotel accommodation to a range of one, two and three-bedroom self-catering holiday cottages.
