Located at the heart Shropshire, Meeson Hall is set in an elegant 17th century manor house, originally built in the 1640’s. Surrounded by eight acres of beautiful paddocks, parkland and landscaped gardens, it’s great for enjoying the delights of nature.

For those who love a bit of sightseeing there is also an option to hire a bike at the property, and go on a little adventure of your own. Nearby attractions include the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the historic town centre of Shrewsbury, and of course Stokesay Castle. More local interest can be found, here.

Every morning, a beautiful breakfast is served in the elegant Morning Room at Meeson, and afternoon tea and evening meals are also available, upon request. The Hall has a full alcohol licence, free WiFi thought out the building, and all rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities.

Guests are welcome to relax in the peace and tranquillity of the Library or comfort of the exquisite Drawing Room. Evening meals are served in the impressive oak-paneled Dining Room, which is said to have one of the finest carved Jacobean chimney pieces in the world. Meeson Hall is surrounded by culture and history - the hall was not only mentioned in the Tennyson poem, 'The Lord of Burleigh', but in Pevsner's 'The Buildings of England'.

Please note when booking, we cannot accommodate pets. Children under 16 years of age are welcome in the cottages, but we can’t accommodate them in the main house unless it is booked by a single group of guests.
